Statement

My work is a visual synthesis of human history, poetry, and the silent geometry of the cosmos. Having lived across the shifting cultural and political borders of Cold War Europe before spending decades as a computer scientist and software architect, my process bridges two distinct disciplines: the structural rigor of applied mathematics and the visceral, unbounded freedom of painting. For decades, while architecting complex software by day, I spent my nights at the easel, using canvas to process the emotional and historical currents of our world. I do not separate traditional paint from the digital frontier; both are instruments to map the invisible architecture of reality. Bold textures and expressive brushwork converse directly with geometric precision, algorithmic rhythm, and symbolic form. From my studio on the shore of Lake Avalon, each work is conceived as an invitation to pause, contemplate, and stand before the infinite. Art is a sanctuary where the viewer may navigate the tensions of our complex world and discover their own sense of belonging.
